Welp, they did it - they've cloned a dog.

But why would they choose a dog who is"ranked by dog trainers as the least companionable and most indifferent among the hundreds of canine breeds"?

"The Afghan hound is not a particularly intelligent dog, but it is beautiful. Many people who opt for the cloning technique are more interested in fashionable looks, " said psychologist Stanley Coren.
